Front of House - Meet Outlaw’s bad-to-the-bone, beer-tenders behind the bar. We are a big, beer loving, fun loving, charismatic, knowledgeable, passionate, hard-working, and driven family of beer nerds. We take pride in the product we serve and feel inspired and humbled to be part of the growing and evolving craft beer movement thriving in Bozeman and beyond.
Back of House - Here at Outlaw Brewing, we're all about quality, ingenuity, and hard work. For us, quality starts with the careful handling of raw materials to lay the foundation for a great beer. We thrive on the ability to source ingredients both locally and globally, allowing us a wide variety of styles to pour through our taps. From crafting traditional lagers to inventive ales, we're no strangers to breaking some rules and a good sweat. So, whether we're gettin' a little funky or keeping it traditional, one thing’s for sure: our production team will be working their saddles off taking great care of your finely crafted brews from grain to glass.
Like Thomas Jefferson, Todd is a native Virginian and loves his country. The similarities pretty much end there. Todd has been a ski bum, owned a bus company, run his own construction firm, and even worked as a stockbroker. By late 2011, however, his other careers had to step aside for his true passion: beer. Todd opened Outlaw Brewing in a tiny corner of a barbeque restaurant in Belgrade with a tiny budget and huge ambitions. His beer making expertise grew, along with a superlative mustache that still graces his lip to this day. By the end of 2013 Todd decided to go all in and purchased the parcel of land where Outlaw currently sits. Throughout 2014 Todd oversaw Outlaw, was the general contractor for the new facility, and continued his duties as husband and father of two. The man likes to multi¬task. While he’s no Thomas Jefferson, he is our founding father, so raise your glass to this mustachioed, beer¬slinging Outlaw!
When the Outlaws packed up and moved to big city Bozeman in 2014, the need for a charismatic wrangler of the masses presented itself. They found Eve, regaled her with tales of the Outlaw lifestyle, fed her a few pints, and she signed up. Hailing from rural Wisconsin, Eve has that midwestern warmth that makes us all want to stay for another round, but also the tenacity to keep a bunch of rough and tumble Outlaws in line.
Hailing from the “Land of 10,000 Lakes”, Jason made the move to Bozeman in 2009. After successfully skiing his way through MSU, and graduating with a degree in psychology, his craft beer journey began with a spontaneous call to Outlaw Brewing. When joining the team, Jason carried out a spectrum of tasks from keg washing and cellar work to welding and lawn mowing. As time went on, Jason's role grew and evolved to become our Head Brewer; a development we are all happy about. Jason’s passion to continue improving quality while exploring new creative brewing styles and methods is evident in every pint we pour. So, what are you waiting for? Come on down and taste the love!
